Mindful origami

Mindful origami is really taking off as a way to zen and happiness whilst aiding relaxation, concentration, hand eye co-ordination and memory. There is even a book about it – Mindful Origami which promises to help us fold our worries away.
The book follows an explosion in the popularity of mindful colouring with UK  stores reporting an 8% boost in sales due to the craze, and origami looks to be the gaining popularity in the same way.

Origami IS addictive and just takes a few minutes to learn to make a crane or a flower – then you find yourself making lots and lots of them and using them to make garlands to decorate your home. Have a go….!

For a bigger challenge guaranteed to totally absorb you there are lots of modular models. This one took me all evening but it is VERY satisfying!
